We’re proud to introduce Mike Hobbs as a new member of the Rod Snow Real Estate team of REALTORS. Mike is a licensed Auctioneer and is specialized in selling both real and personal property utilizing the auction method of marketing. He has been in the auction business for over 20 years and is the owner of Mike Hobbs Auction Service. Mike is well known throughout the Midwest, and nationally, as an expert in marketing and selling real estate, antiques, collectables, as well as general household items at auction; specializing in collectable glass, pottery and cast iron cookware. Mike also performs estate appraisals, host charity events and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Egyptian Board of Realtors, is a past Illinois Auctioneer Champion, as well as a Governor of the Illinois State Auctioneer’s Association where he represents Southern Illinois (Districts 9 & 10) on the ISAA Board of Directors. A native of Southern Illinois, Mike currently resides in Sesser. Mike is also the Financial Reimbursement Specialist for St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospitals, having previously provided consulting services through a Carbondale based CPA firm.
